In a multiyear partnership with UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Aktion team built a sustainable system of care by training and credentialing 150+ workers to provide evidence-based services to refugees.

I think the most important take-home message is regarding the effective use of the 5 pillars, as well as the use of sunny/rainy thoughts with our students.
Very useful training for Primary Care Providers, especially non-doctors. The program can help treat mild to moderate symptoms of common mental health problems, which account for the majority of cases we see.
Developing language to identify their emotions is crucially important. A lot of the time, with students who have suffered trauma, too much emotion is automatically identified as being negative for them.
